Nestled in the Busot mountains (Alicante) you can find the Los Altos de Alicante<\/em><\/a> residential complex.\u00a0<\/em>Featuring detached houses and villas, this is the perfect place to enjoy peace and nature.<\/p>\n

The Group was very happy to be able to contribute to the development of the area, collaborating with an NGO whose project we fell in love with.<\/p>\n

This is the Busot Animal Rescue Concern<\/strong><\/a> (BARC), a non-profit organisation that aims to offer better lives to stray or abandoned animals<\/strong> from Busot and neighbouring towns.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 1000 animals have been rescued in six years<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When the organisation rescues an abandoned animal, they check if it has a microchip to find its owner. Unfortunately, 90% of abandoned dogs do not have one, so BARC takes them in, carries out a preliminary examination and finds new homes for them.<\/p>\n

In addition, they also help to care for stray cats.<\/p>\n

A new animal rescue centre<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the high numbers of abandoned animals, Busot Animal Rescue Concern has acquired land to build an Animal Rescue Centre<\/strong> where they can provide the animals with all kinds of care and comfort until they are ready to be re-homed: a vet, spacious areas for them to run around, medication, etc.<\/p>\n

At TM<\/strong> we wanted to do our bit by donating to the project with a contribution that will help them develop the initiative they have in hand.<\/p>\n

To this effect, our Sales Manager on the Costa Blanca went to the association’s premises to see first-hand what will soon become these animals’ new home.<\/p>\n
