Autumn is here, and in the Mediterranean, we are lucky enough to still have pleasant temperatures to enjoy outdoor activities. And what better plan, if you are fortunate enough to live on Mallorca Island, than to take advantage of the fact that the high season is over and make a road trip around some of its coves?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We suggest this road trip, but you can do it in as many ways as you like. So please get in your car and let’s go!<\/p>\n

Our first stop is Cala de Formentor<\/strong>, or Cala Pi de la Posada<\/strong>, a quiet white sandy beach in the town of Pollen\u00e7a. Surrounded by a forest of pines and holm oaks, it is the perfect beach to initiate our relaxing road trip.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our second stop is Cala Mondrag\u00f3.<\/strong> This cove is in the Mondrag\u00f3 Natural Park, in the south of the island. A cove of sand, stones, and rocks, with bright turquoise water that looks like a swimming pool. If you fancy, you can take advantage of the fact that you are in the area, leave your car at s’Amarador beach and take a stroll towards it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next stop: Cala Agulla<\/strong>. This is a must, due to its location and the services available in the area. It is in Cala Ratjada, Capdepera, a tourist beach with a parking area, restaurant, and other services.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If there is a famous cove in Mallorca, it is undoubtedly Cal\u00f3 des Moro<\/strong>. This beach is in a privileged spot surrounded by enormous walls of pine trees and crystal-clear water, like something out of a film. However, remember that you can’t get there by car, you will have to park in Sa Comuna and walk about 400 metres.<\/p>\n Finally, and taking advantage of the fact that we are talking about its famous coves, Sa Calobra is a must-see. It is a small cove hidden in the Tramuntana mountains that can only be reached through an endless winding road. An extraordinary place where popular TV commercials are filmed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Which coves would you like to add to the list?
