How do I know which orientation is best for me?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n There is no “best” orientation, and the decision may depend on the climate of the area where the home is situated or the owner\u2019s needs or personal preferences. However, we can tell you about the benefits and differences between one and the other.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Northern orientation:<\/strong><\/p>\n This option is usually not preferred, although it certainly has its advantages. The most important thing is that north-facing homes have homogeneous lighting throughout the day. Thus, whether it be plenty or little light, the indirect exposure will always be the same, except in the mornings and summer afternoons.<\/p>\n If your home is in a very hot climate, this could be a winning option.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Southern orientation:<\/strong><\/p>\n Contrary to northern orientation, this is ideal if your home is in a cold climate. On the other hand, if you are in a cold environment or enjoy the sun a lot, south-facing houses are exposed to the sun throughout the day practically all year round.<\/p>\n South-facing homes, as expected, are very bright and warm.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Eastern orientation:<\/strong><\/p>\n Have an east-facing home? Then you have direct sunlight in the mornings.
