The Alicante-based company is donating €15,000 to support people in vulnerable situations by covering, fully or partially, the rent of selected households.

Orihuela, July 31, 2025 – TM Real Estate Group, a leading holding company from Alicante in the residential, hotel, and responsible vacation tourism sector, specializing in the construction and development of second homes along the Mediterranean and Caribbean coasts, the Spanish Red Cross, and the Orihuela City Council have signed a collaboration agreement to launch a Residential Exclusion Prevention project in the municipality. The initiative includes a contribution of €15,000 from the company, which will be channeled through the municipal social services to fully or partially cover the rent of beneficiary families.

The agreement, which will initially be valid for one year, aims primarily to prevent situations of housing exclusion by supporting particularly vulnerable groups such as families with dependent children, people with disabilities, victims of violence, and individuals experiencing homelessness.

TM Real Estate Group thus reaffirms its social commitment with a contribution of €15,000, which will be allocated to cover rent payments for beneficiaries. These funds will be managed by the Red Cross in coordination with the Orihuela City Council’s social services.

During the signing of the agreement, Ángeles Serna, President of TM Real Estate Group, expressed her satisfaction with this new step in corporate responsibility: “We firmly believe in the role the business community must play in helping to build fairer and more cohesive communities. Initiatives like this allow us to move toward that goal by supporting those who need it most and creating new opportunities.”

The Mayor of Orihuela, Pepe Vegara, emphasized during the signing of the agreement that “at the City Council, we work every day to protect those who need it most. This agreement is a clear example of our government’s firm commitment to social justice and equal opportunities. Thanks to the collaboration of TM Real Estate Group and the support of the Spanish Red Cross, we are strengthening our safety net and responding to one of the greatest concerns for many families — keeping a home.”

Vegara also stressed that “Orihuela needs the joint efforts of institutions, businesses, and social organizations to move toward a more cohesive city. This agreement is a clear example of how public-private collaboration can offer real solutions to serious issues like housing exclusion.”
