The company will continue to fund the expansion of the agricultural microcredit program in Kenziga and the consolidation of its Agricultural Training School.

TM Real Estate Group, a leading company from Alicante in the residential tourism, hotel, and vacation sector—specializing in the construction and development of homes along the Mediterranean coast and the Mexican Caribbean—has renewed its commitment to collaborate with the NGO Rafiki África. This non-profit organization, also based in Alicante, carries out cooperation projects in Uganda, with the aim of continuing to promote initiatives that help improve living conditions in the country’s rural communities.

After several years of collaboration on projects focused on access to clean drinking water, agricultural training, student housing, and women’s empowerment through microcredit programs—which have already benefited nearly 1,500 people—both entities are strengthening their partnership with new initiatives designed to consolidate the progress made in the rural area of Kenziga, in the Sembabule district.

Within the framework of this new collaboration agreement, TM Real Estate Group will fund two key projects for community development. On one hand, it will support the renewal and expansion of the agricultural microcredit program for women. This initiative enables women in the area to access small loans to start or expand farming and livestock activities, prioritizing a training-based and collaborative approach, promoting the role of women, and generating recurring income for more than 130 families.

On the other hand, the agreement includes the maintenance and consolidation of the Kenziga Agricultural Training School, an educational center that provides technical training to young people and adults in the community to improve their knowledge of sustainable farming and livestock techniques. The center—named José Luis Serna Secondary School in recognition of the collaboration—allows 105 students to continue their training, contributing to the region’s economic development and directly impacting more than 70 families.

This new phase of collaboration will make it possible to continue improving the economic, educational, and social conditions of a particularly vulnerable population, promoting development opportunities within their own environment.

In the words of Ángeles Serna, Chairwoman of TM Real Estate Group: “For TM, it is essential to support projects that create real development opportunities for people and help build stronger, more sustainable communities. Our collaboration with the NGO Rafiki África allows us to continue working on initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, and improved living conditions for families in Kenziga.”

Meanwhile, Juan José Amirola, president of the NGO Rafiki África, stated: “When a company like TM Real Estate Group becomes involved in social projects, the impact goes far beyond one-off assistance—it becomes an investment in people’s future. For Rafiki África, this collaboration means continuing to advance our commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. When the business sector and social organizations work together, real change is possible.”

With this renewed agreement, TM Real Estate Group reaffirms its commitment to social development and international cooperation, helping to create future opportunities for rural communities in Uganda.
