The company will provide a donation of €20,000 towards the payment of all or part of the rent of the selected households.

Torrevieja, 17 February 2025 – TM Real Estate Group, a leading Alicante-based holding company in the residential tourism, hotel, and responsible holiday sector, specialising in the construction and development of second homes along the Mediterranean and Caribbean coasts, has signed a collaboration agreement with Torrevieja City Council and the Spanish Red Cross to launch a Residential Exclusion Prevention project in the town. This initiative aims to ensure access to decent housing for individuals in vulnerable situations.

This agreement, initially set for one year, is designed to provide financial support to families with children, people with disabilities, victims of violence, or homeless individuals, helping them secure or maintain housing.

By contributing €20,000 towards rent payments for beneficiaries—managed by the Red Cross in coordination with Torrevieja City Council’s social services—TM Real Estate Group reaffirms its social commitment.

During the signing of the agreement, Ángeles Serna, President of TM Real Estate Group, stated:
“We are very proud to continue promoting this type of public-private partnership in the communities where we operate, thus fulfilling one of the commitments of our Corporate Responsibility Master Plan. I hope this initiative inspires more economic and social actors to join in, helping these agreements have a greater impact and assisting more people facing housing vulnerability.”

Meanwhile, Óscar Ortasun, Councillor for Social Welfare and Housing at Torrevieja City Council, highlighted:
“This agreement will last for one year, with the possibility of annual extensions. Priority access to the programme will be given to families with dependent children, households with individuals with severe disabilities or dependencies, homeless people, those who have been evicted and urgently need support to find housing, victims of any form of violence in need of relocation, and individuals in particularly vulnerable situations, as assessed by primary care social services.”

Francisco Galvañ, President of the Alicante Red Cross, also emphasised:
“At the Red Cross, we assist many families in Torrevieja at serious risk of residential exclusion. We greatly appreciate this partnership, which will help improve the quality of life for those unable to access housing due to financial constraints. This initiative deserves full recognition for its significant social value to the city.”
